Well we made it to Missouri without incident on Friday. Sawyer did an awesome job being in the car, and was really only fussy for the last couple of miles (really...I am not kidding). I need to give props to Sarah because she did a great job moving between the front and back seats keeping me awake and Sawyer occupied.
We have spent the last couple of days lounging around my parents house, reading, watching soccer, playing golf and just generally relaxing. We were able to take in a movie on Sunday night and I would say that we both really enjoyed "The Incredible Hulk", it was better then the similarly named move that came out in 2003.
We are packed and ready to go out to the lake tomorrow and then we are going to spend a week enjoying lake activities as well as more relaxing with family. My uncle John and aunt Carol are already here, and more of my dad's family will be trickling in over the weekend. Check back for more pics and posts in the next couple of days.

I hope the Baker family is having a wonderful time on vacation! Sarah, we would love to have a family outing with the boys once you all get back! By the way, thanks for getting Sarah and Connor in touch with us! She lives in our neighborhood and we have gone on several walks together! They are sweet! Small world!
